$80 Million Indoor Sports Multiplex Advances in Manatee County

Wesley Chapel-based Icemann Development is moving forward with plans for an approximately $80 million indoor sports multiplex on county-owned land at Premier Sports Campus North. The roughly 190,000 sq ft facility would include four ice rinks, one with about 2,500 seats, plus space for basketball, volleyball and other events. Manatee commissioners have agreed to lease the 22 acres for $1 a year for the first three years, with a groundbreaking possible in 2027.
