A wave of medical expansion is underway around Lakewood Ranch, including BayCare’s $563 million Hospital Manatee project, a new Orlando Health medical complex planned for 32 acres off State Road 70, and the March 24 opening of Lakewood Ranch Medical Center’s $120 million, five-story patient tower that added 60 beds.
