For the 8th year in a row, Lakewood Ranch has been the top selling multigenerational master planned community in the US, enjoying over a thousand new home contracts in the first half of 2026. The number one master planned community in the US is the Villages which only serves retirees. Two rapidly growing master planned communities fairly near LWR are also growing rapidly. In the first half of 2026 Wellen Park reported over 700 new home contracts, and Babcock Ranch reported over 600.
