Long-Awaited Publix Opens at SR 64 and Uihlein Road

After years of zoning back-and-forth, the new Publix anchoring a Casto development on State Road 64 has finally opened, with East County shoppers lining up before 7 a.m. on opening day. The site will also include a restaurant, a daycare and possibly a self-storage facility.
